Activity description

Poskytovatel sociálních služeb od roku 1990. Pomoc lidem s fyzickým, kombinovaným a lehkým mentálním postižením na jejich cestě k samostatnému životu. Vedle hlavních služeb (Osobní asistence, Poradny pro život s postižením, Sociální rehabilitace a Centra denních služeb) cvičíme asistenční psy, pomáháme s řešením bezbariérovosti soukromého i veřejného prostoru, pomáháme prevenci úrazovosti dětí a prevenci šikany na základních a středních školách, kde je integrováno dítě s postižením. Provozujeme divadlo Barka - otevřený kulturní proctor Ligy vozíčkářů. * The non-profit organisation (NGO) was founded by the wheelchair users in 1990. The name of the organisation we could translate as "League of Wheelchair Users". The target group of clients of Liga vozíčkářů in not only the wheelchair users, but the all the persons with physical and mental disabilities in the present. The organisation provides four social services: Personal assistance, Social counselling, Social rehabilitation and social services facility. Day services centre for the clients with mental disabilities.
