Who are we?

The enterprise and innovation centre BIC Brno was created in 1991 as an EU project under the auspices of DG Regio in a selection procedure for 3 towns in the former Czechoslovakia. Its aim is to support innovative enterprise according to the methodology of the European association EBN European Business and Innovation Centre Network within the former South Moravia.

We work with involved organisations in the EU and with the Southern Moravia, Zlín, Olomouc and Vysočina Regions within the framework of regional and international partnership.

The services we offer in organising co-operation take in the entire project process from the formulation of the project, the search for the most appropriate subsidy, drawing up an application, right up to submission to the pertinent place of approval.

In recent years BIC Brno has obtained for its clients:

• 26 small loans of up to 1 million CZK
• 5 loans within the CREDIT programme of up to 2 million CZK
• 12 subsidies of 300,000 CZK for innovative companies within the RIA project
• 48 appearances at international exhibitions and trade fairs
• 4.2 million CZK of contributions from the CONSULTANCY programme
• 2.3 million CZK from the PHARE programme
