BIC INNOVATION INTEREST GROUP OF CORPORATIONS

Who are we?

BIC innovation, z.s.p.o. is a not-for-profit interest group of corporations established in 1999 by BIC Brno s.r.o. and comprised of innovative companies, research institutions and schools operating in the Southern Moravia, Zlín, Olomouc and Vysočina Regions.

The purpose of BIC innovation, z.s.p.o. is:

• to apply the research performed by BIC Brno in the organisation of national and international co-operation
• to focus the research and development potential of BIC Brno in the resolution of specific innovative projects

What we offer under the auspices of BIC Brno:

• membership of a "virtual incubator" of innovative companies and mutual co-operation among them
• seeking a specific company to resolve your production problems, from components required right up to a working product prototype
• mediating sales of the research products created
• patent protection and the sale of patents
• engagement in an international group in research and development

The results we have achieved:

• financial assistance of 300,000 CZK for 10 innovative companies within the RIA project
• the engagement of 20 innovative companies in the project CO-OPERATION with a resultant increase in sales of the products produced
• solutions to more than 150 research and development tasks, from prototypes right up to the final production phase
• preferential presentation for more than 50 companies in innovation halls at international trade fairs
